Do you offer Telehealth and In-Person Session?

Yes! We offer in-person session in our Fort Worth office and telehealth sessions through a secure online portal throughout the state of Texas. Telehealth sessions are confidential and can be used with a smartphone, tablet, and a computer. TrueSelf Counseling also offers nature based therapy through our Walk and Talk sessions.

Do you accept insurance?

Many clients do not have insurance that offers mental health counseling and those who do often desire to keep their personal information private and confidential. Insurance companies require clinicians to provide a diagnosis for treatment regardless of the age of client. We find this unnecessary in most situations. For these reasons we do only accept private payments. We accept the following: Cash, Check, all major Credit Card including FSA/HSA. You will be asked to place a credit card on file when your first session is scheduled.

Fees: Intake/Initial Session-$150

Individual Session-$140 ($110 for LPC-Associate)

Play Therapy-$110-$140

Walk and Talk-$140 ($110 for LPC-Associate)

EMDR 90 Minute Session-$210

Extended sessions are available at an additional cost

What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel by phone or email within 24 hours of your scheduled time. Otherwise, you will be charged the full session fee.

What is the "Good Faith Estimate"?

Under the new Public Health Service Act Section 2799B-6, health care providers and facilities are required to inform individuals who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical services known as a Good Faith Estimate.

You have the right to receive the GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

You are entitled to a GFE within 1 business day before your medical service is provided.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you may dispute the bill.
